Classical hatch patterns for mechanical drawings

For classical mechanical drawings, as used in e.g. patents, hatch patterns are used.

In the tutorial on https://inkscape.org/en/~henkjan_nl/%E2%98%85patterns-for-mechanical-drawings-in-inkscape I also include a description with:
1) how to import and use patterns in general
2) how these patterns were created using Python
I also included all source files

Kind regards,

HenkJan van der Pol.

Hi Henk,

Inkscape Pattern files have a specified file format, to make them usable by copying them into the /patterns directory of your personal Inkscape configuration folder. Then they will be available in the pattern dropdown. The category 'Inkscape Pattern File' is for these files exclusively.

For the instructions and the code, you could zip those and upload as a tutorial. Link from the description here to them.

Does that make sense?
