Stairskape Illusion

Stairskscape 3D Illusion
I tried to put and use in evidence few new feature such as :
1)Perspective/Envelope
2)The new measurement tool performance
3)Vertical text left to right

The 3D is way off if those were perpendicular edges/faces.
Like, if it was carved from a block the top of the block would be larger than the base face -in other words, the vanishing point for the height should be down and not up.
If it was in 3 point perspective, which is way more advanced to pull off manually.

Hey Lazur thanks for the feedback, my idea was to give an illusion of stairs, in fact if you watch from the top right corner you should see the block but if you watch from different view you can see the paper. Don`t know how to explain better :)

I see the illusion! One minute, the grid is the top of the stairs, but when you go down the stairs, the grid's there too.

I does kind of bother my eye, that the stair steps are not equal height. There are a few places where the geometric proportions are off. For example, the edge on the right of the block where the stairs are is vertical (or close to it), but the left edge is not vertical.

But still is a neat effect. I like to draw illusions like that, and Inkscape is a great tool for it :-)
