Hi Denis,

thank you for your contest entry!

You can use a translation web service for the following:

Could you please:

* move the 'Branding' layer content to the positions it has in the contest template?
* put editable copies of the Roboto font texts '20 YEARS TOGETHER' and 'INKSCAPE 1.3' into the drawing in the right places and hide them?

(fonts used: Roboto - texts in drawing, Montserrat - signature text. Both have an open source license - all good.)

I love the concept and the lighting :)

Hi! Did I do everything right? Or I misunderstood everything))))

Hi Denis,

The branding element positions look good now.

We would still need the original text as text objects in the drawing, so they can be edited if needed.

To do so:

* write '20 YEARS TOGETHER', '1.3', 'INKSCAPE 1.3' with the text tool, in the same font as you used in the image.
* move, rotate, maybe shear, and resize the texts, so they are in the correct positions (like in the image).
* hide the texts (click on the eye icon in the objects and layers dialog)

It seems to have fixed everything.

Sure, there are other impressive entries, but this one is my favorite.
It reminds me Legos of my childhood. Details, colors, it's all in dosage and subtlety !

Congratulations, Denis - your image is in the next round of voting!

Note that the contributor voting needed to be delayed a bit, so the final results will be available a few days later than announced before!

Could I invite you to join our chat channel? I know you do not speak English, but we would like to ask you for an interview! It is okay if we need to use a translation software - or maybe someone in the project speaks your language.

Dear Denis,

What a wonderful work! Congratulations on becoming the Inkscape 1.3 "About Screen" champion!  =)

As a kid, I got to play with toys that extolled principles like this. Using fundamental building blocks of ideas and methods, I was inspired to learn everything I could about the world we share in creative and organized ways that turned ordinary activity into vibrant accomplishment. Your artwork puts that idea to work in multiple dimensions.

I can't wait to see how this inspires everyone who opens Inkscape 1.3 to recognize that their designs are destined make creativity come alive as we all get to build a wonderful world together by using some simple tools that are accessible and open to anyone anywhere in the world today.

Thank you for the time invested in making Inkscape an inspiration that continues to have the capacity to haul us all along for many generations to come!

Best,
Nate
