Inkscape

This is a logo designed for comic book business. I have character named, "Strypll - Girl Cartoonist" and she draws and writes about a fictional town she lives in and all the zany characters. The logo is based around this fictional town called 'Alt-Town' and I'm calling my self Alt-Town Media.

I'm still working on revisions, but the best way I've found to get the results I wanted was to work in layer and keep everything organized. My initial experience with Inkscape I was trying to do everything in one layer which wasn't working for the results I wanted but with time and learning the shortcuts and watching the tutorials put me on a more organized path.

This Nick fellow is an awesome guy and I'm gradually getting away from Adobe Illustrator for my illustration work.
