Hi @Maren Hachmann. I just saw in another post that you said "Unfortunately, the contest rules do not allow to make any changes to the colors in the branding layer" But in the rules https://inkscape.org/community/about-screen-contests/?switchlang=en#h-contest-rules I see this comment "Do not edit the Branding layer with the logo and version number, except for changing the branding's color" I have changed the color and now I am not sure if I can do it. If it is wrong, please let me know to fix it. Thanks.

I have briefly discussed this issue with the other contributors. My understanding is that that statement was referring to the selection of the light or dark branding.

This is our fault as the wording was ambiguous.

Could you please revert the branding to the original color and we will amend the rules to be more clear.

Thank you, @Pacer I have already changed it. I liked it better the other way, it was more consistent, but rules are rules :)

I suggest that those who make the rules consider not using pure black or white for branding. Putting black at a value of 5 and white at a value of 95, for example, I think improves a lot visually and would not cause contrast problems, which I guess is the reason for keeping them pure.

@Marcos González Would you like to join our Branding team? It's often hard for them to agree on something, so having another person who can 'vote' could maybe be useful. It's in https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_branding .

Just to verify: You've been able to edit your drawing even after it having gotten the check mark?

Hi, @Maren Hachmann It was just a suggestion as an Inkscape user. But worthless, perfectly refutable, as I'm just a simple amateur. I have no knowledge in the field of graphic design, so I don't think I could contribute with something useful :)

@Marcos Deep knowledge isn't necessary, only a desire to learn and a will to contribute. And sometimes a thick skin, when people don't agree, but that's going to happen everywhere.

But could you answer the question about whether you edited your image after or before you got the check? That would be important to know.

(it should not be possible to make modifications to contest items that have a check).
