With the Inkscape logo in it, the licence cannot be Public Domain, would you please change that, DG-RA?
Let me know if you need help with the edit dialog, or have any questions about licencing.
I'm not a great expert myself, but I can certainly guide you to the right places where one can learn more about it.
Sorry, I think I made a mistake. There's a download file attached to this, and this is probably what is licenced as Public Domain. My apologies!
Please specify the download files that have the inkscape logo to fix. I would also like to know if it is not allowed to use the logo on the cover of my videos on youtube ...
I would like to cooperate in everything that is necessary. thank you very much!
No, what I meant is that the download file *can* be public domain, because there is no Inkscape logo in it, and that my first comment was made too quickly. I thought the image that was displayed at the top (where the logo is in) was Public Domain, but it's a video on youtube, and differs from the download file.
It's just if you make derivatives of the logo and publish them (esp. in vector format), they need to be CC-By-SA (original author was Andy Fitzgerald). This is as to not confuse users about the Logo's copyright status. People are encouraged to use it in their art, but art made with it needs to respect the logo's licence.
This is independent of the trademark status, which I know you're respecting. And I'm happy that you're here!
Is there any way to show the thumbnail as a full size image, when a video link is uploaded? I want to see that finished image at its full size, but I don't want to watch through the whole video.
(Other people seem to be figuring out how to upload a link. What am I missing?)
Oh, nevermind, I found it!
I found the image. Still didn't find how to upload a link.
Hello! ... if you mean the cover image of the youtube video, I just copied and paste the URL of the video, in the link option. This is automatically extended after saving the file changes ...
At least that's how it works for me. I hope I could have helped ...
