If Inkscape had a Mascot, it might be a shy Squid called Squidney.
Just like the Team behind Inkscape he hides in the background, always pushing Inkscape forward.
Squidney has many tentacles, just like Inkscape has many various groups of users!
The tail end of his body looks similar to the Mountain Logo.
Oh! and Squids produce Ink... ;-)
Most importantly... he's cute! LOL.
