I was born in the early 80s and began drawing in the early 90s. I drew exclusively with colored pencils for many years until microugly from the inofficial Inkscape forum suggested I give Inkscape a try. That was around 2009 or so. Before that, my only digital works were a couple of simple pieces done in Freehand MX. The transition to Inkscape went smoothly. I kept using it and my focus shifted more and more in a digital direction. Nowadays the majority of my works are done with Inkscape, though I do still enjoy drawing with traditional media (pencils, ink pens). Oh, and I dabble in pixel-art as well, though very rarely.
