Here is my entry to the Inkscape .42 About Screen contest. The about screens are a little difficult since you can't go crazy with detail since it needs to render on the fly w/in the program.
The stars are accurately mapped and it is a portion of the sky map I drew for Gaze (but a part that got covered by the forground). In case you are wondering, it the area of the sky below Orion and to the left a little.
