20 years of Inkscape is not the end of the journey but a huge milestone. The new version is built on the foundations of the previous versions and is becoming better with each iteration. It's a shining example of what is possible in open source software when a great team of dedicated developers gets together and works their magic. I tried to showcase what can be done in Inkscape with simple shapes and without fancy drawing skills. Using only a limited set of tools to create a consistent yet rich look. The piece relies heavily on gradients, tapered and power stroke path effects on simple lines and basic shapes [circles and rectangles were the starting point for most elements]. Organizing a design of this complexity was key. The improved layers and objects panel was a huge help in keeping the 2500+ objects that make this scene under control. Here's grandma and her little grandchild, 'creating together' in Inkscape 1.3. This artwork was inspired by Inkscape's ease of use and accessibility, which this open-source software gives to its users. It also tries to illustrate the limitlessness by which Inkscape has become a great tool in graphics, even for this 15-year-old me! The new shape builder tool has made far easier and quicker boolean operations. Hearty congratulations to the Inkscape developers and contributors who 'created together' this feat of 20 years, enabling us to draw freely! I was first trying to make a scenery using inkscape hill. But I found that I am not so good at such kind of artwork. Later I decided to make a artwork my way- the sector I am good at- logo like stuffs. Inkscape filters are awesome but so under-rated. I made the awesome frozen and shining style using only the filters and nothing else. You can easily understand how powerful these filters can be. I hope the developers will work more to make a filter preview panel, only then it will be easier for people to use this feature. I am designing in Inkscape for years and I have a deep love for this software. Since I left Adobe creative cloud- Inkscape was the software that I used about 98% of my designs. I dream that soon this software will surpass Adobe Illustrator. My best wishes are always with Inkscape.
