Oh, well I was confused when you said "I just caught an error in my original Comment". I thought you meant there was another message somewhere else.
Oh I see, the original comment is in the bottom section of your message.
So if I read your message from bottom to top, I guess the problem is solved?
The forum gives a time/date stamp to each message, so you don't have to do it yourself. Unfortunately it doesn't not give separate stamps to more than one edit though.
Ok, I think that I am beginning to understand how to post for this Forum--Just Reply to the particular posted Topic. No need to use edit other than for corrections.
I moused over the Clock and saw the time/stamp for the first time. Thanks for your comment which led to my action. Can I change the time zone basis to EST? It now shows 5 h ahead of my time.
Hhmm....I can't find any settings for time zone in my settings. However, the times that are shown seem correct for me.
Are you saying that when you post a message, instead of saying "0 minutes ago" it shows....well, something else? Where are you mousing over the clock? In the forum index (list of topics) or in an open topic (showing individual replies)?
I don't know how this forum handles different time zones. Maybe @doctormo can say?
The +0000 indicates the time zone, which is UTC for the timestamps. The javascript does not seem to work on the title (what appears on hovering), only on the displayed time text.

Mystery solved. The extension has measured the circumference of the circle. This makes sense. I was thinking of the diameter after my original error.
C = pi * d = 3.14159 * (10 * 5 mm) = 157.08 mm vs 155.16 mm by the extension (a -1.22 % error). Not bad!

I just caught an error in my original Comment.
10 major squares x 5 mm per square is 50 mm not 150 mm. What is being measured by the extension?

Was an error detected with the following measurement? See attachment.
Given: A 1 mm grid with a major grid line every 5 mm.
Object to measure: A circle measuring exactly 10 major squares in diameter (150 mm).
Problem: Visualize Path > Measure Path length measurement given as 155.16 mm
Engineering drawings should be accurate. Should this be reported as a Bug?
"original Comment"?
If this message is related to this topic: https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/measurement-m-tool-angle-reference/ , I'll merge them together. I just want to confirm because they aren't exactly the same question, but similar.

Not similar because the linked question has to do with the Preference Dialog setting of angle measurement. Best kept separate in my opinion.
