Creative Growth - 20 years of Inkscape
Enabling creatives to grow their imagination, go wild, and be creative.
I played around a lot with layer blend modes, path effects [taper and powerstroke], blurs, the spiro effects on the pen tool, clones, and Boolean operations. What started as a quick test [while stuck on another idea] grew wild and I went a bit overboard... but it's just too much fun to work in Inkscape.

Hi Chris,
thank you very much for your entry! (and welcome back!)
To have it participate in the contest, please:
* duplicate the visible texts, convert one copy to paths and hide the other copy
* run 'clean up document'
Thanks, Maren... I knew I forgot something... Fixed!
Thanks - fonts are good now (they still mention calibri and Raita, but those are not used in the drawing - doesn't matter).
Could you still do the cleanup, too, please, Chris?
Cleaned! I was sure I did it before ;)
Weird - you're right, the document cleanup doesn't do anything, while our contest checker tool is still reporting a few unused gradients. I'm sorry for the false alert, Chris!
Entry is checked!
Good luck / viel Glück!
I love it!
Marcos González, thanks... I had a lot of fun designing it!
Make your next title: 'It's fun to "Draw Freely!"'
Congratulations a second time, Chris - your other image is in the next round of voting, too!
