Inkscape extension for generating embroidery stitch files.
Usage:
Select objects that you want to apply embroidery properties and using the extension, set the parameters for the desired object(s). Once all desired objects have embroidery properties, use the extension to generate the necessary stitch file.
A variety of raw stitch files are supported.
Note:
Follow the link to the Ink/Stitch website. There you can find download links, installation instructions and in depth-documentation.
This extension is cool :) - lexelby, it can do so nice things, do you maybe have a better screenshot for presenting it?

When will you release a version for Mac?
There is actually a version for Mac available now for download on the latest release page.
Thankyou so much for all of your hard work too create this extension ance tutorials. Everything thing works well on my old Brother Super Galaxie. Do you think Inkstitch would be easily adaptable for a diy arduino managed machine I.e. exporting to gcode related software?
I understand there is an extension for svg to cgode for cnc but will it translate easily within Inkstitch? Perhaps there is firmware that would work better to pair with the formats you have already worked with. Thoughts?
Did you try exporting to a CSV format and see if that could be read into your gcode software?
I do believe gcode support is planned to be written into pyeembroidery, which is the backend engine for Ink/Stitch for the file exporting.
The preview image small icon in the list is still the old image...

Hello,
Thank you for providing this extension for Inkscape users!
This is just to let you know that most 3rd party Inkscape extensions, like this one, probably will not work with the upcoming new Inkscape version, the long-awaited version 1.0.
Here is the info you need to update this extension, so that it will work with 1.0 and future versions.
