I am trying to evenly distribute multiple dots within a triangle. Does anyone know how to do this?
Also, my align and distribute function off and on gets very buggy. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. If I try to align 9 or so dots in a square it works fine. When I start trying to align 20 or so dots everything misaligns.
For the first use case: draw rectangle - object to path - take node tool and select all 3nodes and hit "insert nodes in between selected nodes" 2 times. Either use dot markers or let duplicated circles snap with rotational point to the nodes.
For the second use case their is an extension for evenly distribution of nodes along paths. Again use markers or circles. Or "l" when it's used for a drill blueprint - maybe.
Hi all.

In either case, are all the dots the same size?
Are the triangles equilateral?
Yes, dots are same size and all equilateral.
How can dots like these on this triangle or cribbage board be distributed

As they say on the cooking shows, here's one I prepared earlier. https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/creating-a-grid-of-dots
