Quickjoint

This is an Inkscape extension to help rapidly prototype 3D assemblies using a laser cutter, CNC router, waterjet cutter, or similar 2D process.

It can quickly add box tabs to selected lines, or matching slots using guidelines.

Please see the attached link for better documentation and updated files! I can't promise this page will stay up-to-date.

Legacy version for old versions of Inkscape are also available at the link.

Hi. I have installed the extension, i have done same like in the video from the link but no tabs or slots appear. I have created a rectangle, no filling, black stroke, i select it with the select tool, i go to quick joint and i put 3 tabs and apply and nothing is happening. I restarted inkscape several times and no success. Am i doing something wrong?

Hello,
Thank you for providing this extension for Inkscape users!

This is just to let you know that most 3rd party Inkscape extensions, like this one, probably will not work with the upcoming new Inkscape version, the long-awaited version 1.0.

Here is the info you need to update this extension, so that it will work with 1.0 and future versions.

If you have further questions, you can contact Inkscape developers via mailing lists (https://lists.inkscape.org/postorius/lists/?all-lists), forum (https://inkscape.org/forums/extensions/), or the chatroom (https://chat.inkscape.org/channel/team_devel)

If you have already updated it, please disregard this message.

All best,
brynn
