Hi, I've just been using Inkscape and I'm thrilled because it's very intuitive,

but I have a problem, I'd like to change the text like in the photos but I don't know how,

searching on the internet I haven't found anything. You can help me?

You know how to do it in Blender but not in Inkscape? In essence itยดs pretty easy: Type your text, draw a circle, select both and go Text->Put on Path. Use Text tool to change text/Font/font size etc and Selector tool to rotate/scale the circle.

The third image can be achieved by using a pattern along path LPE, the others with a classic put text on path as polygon showed and playing with font size and kerning.

    Pattern along path :

    • type text, select it and do path > object to path. Copy it.
    • draw the circle, convert it to path, apply Pattern along path LPE, pattern : copies to unique, set tangential offset to match, then with node tool you can modifiy height of pattern.

Hi, I didn't ask how to create circle text but how to stretch or squash the text while it is curved.

I linked a YouTube video where I showed what I meant but unfortunately it was removed from this forum and so I attached these images.

Edit:(I don't want to increase or decrease the letter spacing)

It's a good idea but terribly long and complicated

Draw a circular arc and copy it. Select your text then [Path > Object to Path]. [Path > Path Effects...] [Bend] [Link to path in clipboard].

for the width what can I do?

Select the arc then use the node tool [n] or the ellipse tool [e] to [click-drag] the end points.

In the path effects dialog change [width: XX] to adjust the text height.
