I have just downloaded the current Inkscape on a windows computer. I have imported a scan of a plan which I wish to redraw and redo the text so that it can be printed, can I do this on Inkscape please.
Yes - I´d lock the scan in place and add a new layer or layers to draw upon your scan and organise the content new drawn.
