After choosing Path-Trace Bitmap-Centerline tracing, I have attempted to erase a portion of the path using Erase (Clip From Object)
The erased section disappears from the screen, but when I output the SVG file the erased section is still there. How do I fix this??
Clips are non destructive operations and are not recognized by cnc or laser cutters.
Use node tool to remove portions, or boolean operations (create a shape with Pen tool and select shape and trace and do path > difference).
