Over the years, I have created many unique one-of-a-kind crafts. I ask God to give me an idea and, Wah Lau! So-o-o to the, THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX ROOM, I go.
Most of the time when God gives me these ideas, there is nothing out there yet, to create it. My best friend tells me there is not enough time in my lifetime to create all of my ideas. It's fun and can be frustrating at the same time.
I currently have an idea I've been working on for years. Haven't found to materials to accomplish it yet, but I will.
I am a butterfly gardener extraordinaire. My family has moved around many places due to military. I start my butterfly gardens over and over again. Truly a labor of love. I am currently raising 7 different species of butterflies in my yard.
In my past lives, I have been a: certified dental assistant, seamstress and alterations of drapes, upholstery, evening gowns, elaborate stage production scenery and wearables, everyday wear, toys, masks, totes, etc., gardening advisor, Tupperware manager, public school substitute teacher, and Bible Class teacher, to name a few.
I learned sign language as a child having been exposed to deaf communities. It is a joy to sign while worshipping. I have had several opportunities to help the deaf in different situations. God truly has blessed me.
I have been married for 49 years, we have 3 wonderful beautiful daughters, and 3 amazing grandchildren. We are a close family, blessed to have each other. My husband is also an amazing creative engineer. We work very well together. I have to give credit where credit is due, many of the times, he is the one that helps me tweak and implement my ideas. We are a great team!
I'm 65 years young. My body doesn't agree with the young part, but my mind does. It is my prayer this will continue and I will be able to continue to produce what is in my mind.
My love language is giving! God has given me so much!
In the photo are me and my mother. One the right, is My Mother, the most soft spoken, tender loving, wise, woman God gave to me. She endured ALS before she passed away with more grace than anyone could ever imagine. To give you a glimpse of the amazing person she was, on the day of her official ALS diagnosis, she said: "Well, other than this, I'm healthy." She was a retired nurse and knew what was to come and still had a positive outlook. My hope is that everyone could have a person in their lives like my mother.
