I have just discovered Inkscape thanks to a friend who introduced me.
Have tried a few other programs for creating and editing images, making logotypes and texts in .SVG format.
I'm really looking forward to try out this open source program, and if it suites my needs, i will gladly donate to the creators and show my support!
