I currently give science presentations at assisted-living centers and retirement communities in the Portland-metro area, Oregon. I also give concert on the Ukrainian bandura, the national folk stringed instrument of Ukraine. When I am not giving science and music presentations, I do video-editing using both Inkscape and VSDC Video Editor.
I taught volcano studies, geology, wind energy technology, math, physics, and engineering at community colleges; and later worked on Web site development and graphic design.
Right now, I use both Inkscape and Musescore to write and refine new repertoire for the Ukrainian bandura. What Musescore doesn't have for special text and symbols, I fill in using Inkscape.
