A set of icons for Inkscape 0.91 as a temporary place-holder until Inkscape 0.91.1 is released. The icons have a familiar feel to Inkscape 0.48.x. To test: 1. using the file management program, open the Inkscape folder. Its location varies depending on the system (Windows/Linux/MacOS). 2. open the subfolder "share". 3. open the subfulder "icons". 4. rename the current "icons.svg" (recommended: "icons.old1.svg"). 5. place the downloaded "icons.svg" into this folder. 6. restart Inkscape (this can be done while Inkscape is running without any detrimental effects). To restore previous icons: 1. using the file management program, open the Inkscape folder. Its location varies depending on the system (Windows/Linux/MacOS). 2. open the subfolder "share". 3. open the subfulder "icons". 4. rename the current "icons.svg" (recommended: "icons.test.svg"). 5. rename the previous "icons.old1.svg" to "icons.svg". 6. restart Inkscape (this can be done while Inkscape is running without any detrimental effects) and the original icon set will be restored.
WIP - Inkscape iconset An iconset to revamp Inkscape main tools.
STEPS TO INSTALL extract the zip file copy the folder paste it in \Program Files\Inkscape\share\icons open Inkscape go to edit > preferences > interface > theming change the default icon theme to 'premium minimal icons' DISCLAIMER this is an opensource project to make a better icon design system for Inkscape. i do not own all the work, rather i assembled many of the icons from awesome contributors like - logos by nick and 7kv929, as well as i designed some of them. yet there's a lot to do to make it complete. you can also contribute by making minimal icons (as many quantities as you want). You can DM me if you are interested contributing and feel free to give any kind of feedback... (consider sharing this project to spread throughout the Inkscape community.)
Hawel is build to be a most Professional Inkscape iconset. The icons are build to understand inkscape tool features much easier and toluck the Software more Professional. 20 main tools were taken from WIP-iconset because they look very nice, the Cursor set and other icons were designed by me. The Cursor set were cleverly designed so that they are visible in dark and also in light theme. Hawel Icon Set consists of 186 icons and will design more icons in future. ______________________________________________________________________ Used GTK Theme (Sweet-Dark-v40): https://www.gnome-look.org/p/1253385 WIP-iconset Link: https://inkscape.org/pt/~m1981/%E2%98%85icons-inkscape+2 if you want to send me your comments or Ideas Email me: inkscape.hawel@gmail.com ________________________________________________________ If you want to support me: https://paypal.me/IbrahimHawel _____________________________________________________ for best experiance change icon size, Toolbox icon size: 188% Control bar icon size: 188% Wide Screen active Icons developed for version 1.x _______________________________________ __________________________________________ Versions: Hawel v0.2 _ 10.02.2023 _ (186) icons Hawel v0.1 _ 27.07.2022 _ (177) icons
This is a set of cursors for Inkscape 1.1.x that do not feature the new shadows and appear a bit less bulky. In addition to removing the shadows, I've also made some other small tweaks, like decreasing the contour width and adding back some holes. You only need this for Inkscape 1.1, later versions will include an option to remove the shadow (in the preferences, but this will not reduce the bulkiness, of course). How to use: * Download the zip file * Unzip it with an unarchiver tool * Open Inkscape * Go to Edit > Preferences > User interface > Theme > Icons * Note the name of the currently selected icon set (e.g. 'hicolor') * Click on 'Browse' behind the line which lists the directory for the user defined icon sets * Create a folder with the name of the currently selected icon set (e.g. 'hicolor') * Move the folder 'cursors' from the downloaded archive into this new folder. * Switch to another tool in Inkscape to see whether it worked.
