    Hi!

My name's Hugo Filipe,  from Portugal.
I'm a computer science teacher with a passion about digital image and drawing and I've recently launched a new YouTube channel dedicated to digital image tutorials, featuring GIMP and... Inkscape! :D

Please, check the Inkscape playlist at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLP65TgUotknEq9hSbvvFXpDBIjTmFsavy  and consider subscribing! ;)

I'm also considering joining the translators team. :)

    Thanks, cheers!

If I didn't know I'd guess you were speaking dutch. :)

Even though I don't understand a word I can tell that these tutorials are very good.

Hope you get as many views as you deserve!

😲 OMG ! Muitissimo obrigado Hugo!
Now my friends who complain about inkscape been "too difficult" will have no more excuses... 😅, I will recommend your channel for sure.

    Great initiative, @tutor!
Ainda por cima em português! Claro que vou ver e subscrever.

I'm rookie in this app, but I recognise that it is very powerful and awesome!
I wonder if you, or any member, can clarify me one topic:
    - when I import a figure (e.g., a rectangle with a circle inside) and copy/past to a new Inkspace sheet, I only see just one path, although the rectangle and circle is there. Supposing that I will use the resulting file to be laser cutter, the result will be a rectangle (with that dimensions) with a hole (circle)?

    Thanks!

    Best,

    Julio

Copy&Paste multiple objects from one Inkscape document to another one works here seamlessly.

    Thank you, @Polygon

However, the source figures are in a PDF file (scale 1:1) and I need to copy them to a new Inkspace file.

    Example in attached file.

    About my question:
