Hi. I have known about this wonderful 9 piece puzzle for years. I finally decided to make one using Inkscape.

You can freely use this to make gifts for children, those young at heart, any creative folks, those who are shut in, lonely, down hearted, etc.

Choose your own colors, resize them, print them ... and bless someone with what you share.

A quick search in Google and wikipedia yields many additional possible shapes (bird like and otherwise).

Here is the svg file and a screen capture.

Share your creativity and goodness with others.

(As an additional side note -- perhaps you can use this to challenge someone's perspective ...  to "see" what they can "make" with what they already have.)

    God bless you!

    Hi Ken,

What a novel idea!  I have never heard of the Egg of Columbus.  I took a quick look to see what tangrams are all about and am impressed with their history.  I wish I knew about them when I was a tutor years ago.  Shape manipulation works great for visual learners.

    Best wishes for the springtide,

    Roy
