As you can see in the image above, the edges of the " mouth " are sharp. I tried node to smooth , Rounded Corner extension etc. But all those didn't work. Is there any method using which we can achieve this ? Thanks.
It depends how the path is constructed. If it was a single line, then line caps would be the way to go. This is likely not a line but a full shape, if it has stroke colour then setting the stroke corner option would round it out a bit.
But for ultimate rounding, you should change the flat segments into curves by dragging them out and adjusting the beziers until they are as you need them.
If these don't work, then I'm not sure exactly what you might need.
Thanks for the reply. I used 2 circles to create a crescent and then used a rectangle ( properly placed ) and used path > difference to get the current 2 point edge

In the end, I think I fixed it this way. I added 2 nodes, 1 each below the 2 points of the edge and used the smooth option. Adjusted the curve a bit with the line with a ring at its end ( I don't know what you call it ) and manually made sure that it is a curve. This is what I have now
Hi, hope you people had a joyful Christmas.
I was trying to draw a smiley.
