Beginners' Questions Pencil reset button missing?

    Hi Inkscapers,
    Recently I installed Inkscape 1.0.1 under Windows 8.1. It is the 64 bit .exe installer.

    Now I am missing the reset button when working with the pencil tool. Does anyone know if this button was deleted on purpose?
    Or should I file a bug report?

    The other tools with a reset button still have one.
