Sometimes, when I make a new object, and add it under an existing group, the new object will change size/position.
I think it may be because I changed the size/position of the new groups after I made them, but am unsure.
Is there a way to prevent the change in size/position when adding new object to a group?Β Or reset whatever the group's internal size/position is that may be causing it?

Please describe the process step by step.
I will have a group of objects grouped together in inkscape.
I will draw a new object.
I will go over to my object list and drag the new object into the grouped objects.
The new object will change size/position.
I'd try ungrouping the group (all objects from the group will be selected), then shift-click to include the new object(s), then regroup.
Or, ungroup and regroup, then drag objects into the group with the Objects dialog.
That does work around the issue.Β Thank you for the help!
