I have been using the node editor to modify my drawings by altering the co-ordinate of the node in the tools control bar. I am not sure if it is a recent update but I now only get the X co-ordinate. I have searched but cannot find how to display the Y co-ordinate. Help most appreciated as I found this a useful way of making my drawings accurate.
Not sure if it is related but X & Y 0 are now in the top left hand corner with +ve now going downwards. Is this a change I can alter?
I am using version1.0.1 (1.0.1+r73) on Linux Mint20
Edit Went back to 0.92 and now ok, so it looks like with the new release I have a problem?
I have been in and out of updating and whenever I load 1.01 the Y coordinate is not visible on the Tools Bar. Will just stay on 0.92, however as I am now more familiar will go and try 1.01 for the screenshot, hopefully
It seems the display area is small compared to the icons/buttons. (There is usually an overflow button at the end of the icons/buttons to access more tools.) The icon/button size can be controlled in the Preferences.
Thanks for advice. looks like the screen size is the issue which I am attempting to alter. For some reason I have lost the Inkscape icon off my desktop so another problem to resolve
