HI everyone.Β My boyfriend made me a picture that he drew for my birthday a few years ago.Β I wanted to take one of the pieces and make it into a shirt.Β I used the bezier tool to cut it out.Β I was then thinking I could use the trace bitmap option to get it into a different layer but when I went in there, the background from the picture showed up again even after I used the bezier tool.Β Is this normal?Β If so, how do I get rid of the background when the actual picture I am looking at doesn't have the background on it.Β Thank you.

The Multiple Scan option at the trace bitmap tab has the "remove background" feature.
