I have re-painted some fonts/ letters by putting many strokes on them. Now I want to connect the strokes with a thin single line to print fonts/ letters.
Somehow I am not able to connect the strokes, I have tried stroke to path ... and all from this menue but it is not working.
Note: Trace Bitmap could deliver similar result but I need to do it manually for more precision and I dont want filled areas, just a thin line for plotting with axisdraw.
Sounds like you have to go first Stroke to Path and then Path->Union. Depending on what kind of "Strokes" you have could be you need to go Path->Object to PathΒ first then Stroke to Path etc.

thanks for fast answer, still I see only the dots (strokes) and not lines connecting them when I do this
I wonder what kind of "strokes" you have? BΓ©zier with attached shape? Maybe provide an example or at least a screenshot. (1am already here)
