Something happened to ny copy of Inkscape 1.2. First, I was able to get into SYSTEM>User Config. I don't know if this was an accident, I deleted the default "background". Leaving my own backgound (using Document Properties). Now when I go to use...for example... the square tool nothing happens. Do I have to reinstall Inkscape ?

Maybe hit "Reset Preferences" at the Inkscape Prefs and restart Inkscape.
