I have been working on an inkscape project for months and getting close to finished. I was trying to enter unicode for emojis and when I hit CTRL U1F, my project looked like the picture! I closed out of inkscape without saving since I hadn't done much during that session. However, when I pulled it back up 2 more times, it still looks possessed! You can see that the export pictures look correct. I was able to export all of the pages as PDF and they all came up in PDF form looking correct, but how do I get my inkscape project to appear normal??
Hi!

Fear not, I would try setting the menu: VIew>Display modeNormal.
Notice that on top of you window, the name of your svg file is displayed and "(outline)" is mentioned
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for the quick fix! It doesn't show a shortcut for this, so now I'm curious how it happened while using my keys
Ctrl + 5 (numpad) switches between display modes.
