apmbcnIsometric tiles with 45-degree slopes

apmbcn

Basic isometric terrain, floor and wall tiles with 45-degree slopes and internal borders, sized 64x64 pixels. Useful for building your own tilesets on top of them. The tiles come pre-shaded so that the right side is always dark, but this can be easily edited. Note that 45-degree tiles completely obscure their backward slopes, and so may not be suitable for all games, particularly games where you need to see these slopes and rotating the view frequently is not a desirable option. They are certainly useful for sandbox games where you do a lot of digging (Gnomoria uses them). To make the presence of backward slopes noticeable, create line sprites that are drawn onto the tops of the slopes and that have a distinct color (see pictures of slopes in the game Gnomoria for an example). Tiles with 30-degree slopes are also available, and these don't obscure their rear slopes: https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-tiles-with-30-degree-slopes See the links in that page for separate 30-degree wall and floor tiles, as well as shading masks.

Alpha version, may still have errors. These are basic two-level isometric tiles with 30-degree slopes and internal borders, sized 64x64 pixels. Useful for building your own tilesets on top of them. For separate floor and wall tiles, see my other upload: https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-floor-and-wall-tiles-with-30-degree-slopes For shading masks to use with these tiles, see: https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-tile-shading-masks Tiles with 45-degree slopes available here: https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85isometric-tiles-with-45-degree-slopes

Cracked sandstone stonework isometric tiles

Isometric, 30-degree-angled, two-level piecemeal sandstone block tiles made up of wall and floor pieces, featuring cracks to make them look worn and ancient. The colors are all swatch-based so you can easily edit them. The contents may have been tampered with by my local intelligence agency as these tiles are part of a pro-White project and they have made alterations to my files before with respect to that project to discourage me from working on it.

Alpha version, may still have errors. These are basic floor and wall segments for two-level isometric tiles with 30-degree slopes and internal borders, sized 64x64 pixels. Useful for building your own tilesets on top of them. For whole tiles (not separate floors and walls), use the objects provided in the svg file outside of the page borders, or alternatively see my other upload: https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-tiles-with-30-degree-slopes For shading masks to use with these tiles, see https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-tile-shading-masks Tiles with 45-degree slopes available here: https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85isometric-tiles-with-45-degree-slopes

Two-level isometric tile shading masks

ALPHA VERSION, LIKELY STILL HAS ERRORS; USE AT YOUR OWN RISK For use with tilesets created using the base tiles in https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-tiles-with-30-degree-slopes and https://inkscape.org/~apmbcn/%E2%98%85two-level-isometric-floor-and-wall-tiles-with-30-degree-slopes These masks are meant to create shade for the various floors and walls of the tiles. The tile matching each shading mask is indicated outside the svg file's page. Place these in your game as objects on top of your tiles and adjust their alpha to create the desired level of shading. Using this method, the borders of the tiles will never be shaded, only the interiors will be. This is intentional, as the inner borders of the tiles should have the same color.
