I just upgraded to 1.2.1, and none of the keys do the commands I'm used to. Backspace doesn't delete, it's Control instead of Command for noncontinuous selection, and so on.
I checked to make sure I was using the Inkscape default keyboard in 1.1, and I was. I tried the only keyboard I saw that was labeled "Mac" (pre-Carbon, I think it was), and that's not it either.
What should I select if I want the Inkscape default keyboard for 1.1 in 1.2.1? And is there a tutorial on editing the keyboards? I may have missed it (my brain seems to get less acute ever day), but I couldn't find one.
I'm using macOS 10.13.6 (the best I can manage) and the latest Inkscape.
I am sorry, I downgraded to Inkscape 1.1.2 (b8e25be8, 2022-02-05). And anyway, the problem is the shortcuts. I hit the keys that worked for a given shortcut in 1.1, and it does something else. I'm not sure how to give you a screenshot of that.
And 1.2 is far too buggy on the Mac, anyway. The keyboard turns out to be only one of the problems. I forget the others, but I finally decided I was better off in 1.1.

Thanks for being willing to help, though!
