Maybe the most elementary question, but are there quick keys for fill and stroke colors? in other words, if my mouse is over the color red, can i press ctrl+? to set the fill? and same for the stroke?

    Thanks

    Can you be more specific?

e.g. "if I have an object selected, can I assign a fill to that object by holding my pointer over a color on the screen and pressing a hotkey?"

Yes, That is exactly what I am referring to. Sorry, I don't know the lingo! lol

--->  "if I have an object selected, can I assign a fill or stroke to that object by holding my pointer over a color on the screen and pressing a hotkey?"

    👍

The D key gets the dropper tool, which can be clicked anywhere on the canvas to assign a fill color to the selected object. Shift-click to assign color to stroke.
