I'm creating my drawings in FreeCAD, export them as a SVG and import them finally to Inkscape as a SVG.
For example, if I draw a square with a side length of 10 mm in FreeCAD, the square in Inkscape has a length of 10.7 mm because the line thickness is included. But I would like to have the square in Inkscape as drawn (10 mm)
Hi guys
I'm creating my drawings in FreeCAD, export them as a SVG and import them finally to Inkscape as a SVG.
For example, if I draw a square with a side length of 10 mm in FreeCAD, the square in Inkscape has a length of 10.7 mm because the line thickness is included. But I would like to have the square in Inkscape as drawn (10 mm)
Any idea how I can achieve this?
Thanks!!
Go Inkscape Preferences->Tools->Bound box to use= "Visual bounding box". This will include the stroke width to the size..
