Beginners' Questions dynamic layers link?

    think 3d assembly, it pulls parts from different part files.

    Can we have inkscape layers that are pulled from another inkscape svg.

    anyone remember .shtml? 

    This way many svg files with similar stuffs would be easily updated by changing svg responsible for layer's origin..yea
