Hi, I recently got a new Windows 11 laptop and thought I'd try out the newest version of Inkscape 1.2.1 along with it.
However, I have a question. I've noticed when I have the layers panel up and I create a new object, the layer automatically expands to show the new object made. I click the arrow next to the layer to collapse and hide the individual objects inside a layer because I prefer just seeing layers without the objects. But every time I make new objects, it opens back up. Is there any way to disable that so that I don't need to collapse the layer and hide the objects every time?

Here's an example of what I'm looking for.
This button hides/shows objects:
Oh lol
I was trying to look in Preferences for something, that was a lot easier than I thought. Thank you!
