    Inkscape 1.2 here

Is there any way to connect the center of two circumferences (with a straight bezier line) using snap functionalities?

    Thanks!

There´s a snapping option for tangential + perpendicular lines.

I'm new to inkscape, could you please give me more details?

    1. I have drawn two circumferences
    2. In the snap popover dialog I checked: enable snapping, nodes/perpendicular lines, nodes/tangential lines
    3. I selected the bezier tool

And now what I have to do?

I expected the snap to be triggered by moving the mouse pointer closer to the center of either circle but instead nothing happens.

That is how I´d go about it (if I got it right):

Your example shows how to draw the tangent to two circumferences. I would like the line passing from the two center.

    Easy peasy:

Thank you @polygon for the help and @TylerDurden for the link (I'm reading it now!!).

I made some test. To snap to the center of two objects this is what it seems to me should be set in the snap popover:

Sorry another question related to this issue.

Now I have the two circumferences and a line connecting their two centers. Here it is the image.

Can it be made so that if I move a circumference the line automatically follows the displacement and continues to connect the center of the two objects? Like if the line was joined (?) to the objects.

    Thanks!

Like so? Then you need to convert the circle with Path->Object to Path to get to the Nodes you can then select from multiple objects:

@Polygon: yes!!!! That's exactly what I wanted! Thanks!

There´s a diagram connectors tool - but they will be drawn behind objects - just saying.

    @Polygon great, nice to know!!

I post here a link to a video showing basic use of *diagram connectors*

Not sure how he managed to have the connectors on top - but that´s definitely not how it should work.
