    In the Inkscape Text and Font, it only show 9 fonts. All other fonts are lost.

    I tried to install the fonts for all user, uninstall and re-install the Inkscape, delete the folder "username/AppData/Roaming/Inkscape", and also upgrade the Inkscape version from 1.1 to 1.2. But can't solve this issue.

    Could you help me how to fix this?

    Also, I'd check Edit -> Preferences -> Interface -> Language

    It seems there's some weird issues how inkscape handles font's location on windows. Try searching for 'inkscape fonts windows' and you will see some suggestion.

    @julioneto Thank you for your response.

    It seems not a font error. The Inkscape doesn't find any fonts on any folder of the system, any user or all user.

    But if I install the font under the "Inkscape\share\inkscape\fonts", the Inkscape find it!

    It's the only way that I can get font in the Inkscape. Other fonts, installed under "windows/fonts", "user name\AppData\Roaming\inkscape\fonts" or "user name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts", can't be found!

    Why this happened?

    Inkscape have many install options.
    Maybe try a different one from the one you are currently using?
    The ones suggested below can be used in parallel with your current installation.

    https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/inkscape/9PD9BHGLFC7H
    https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.2/windows/32-bit/portable-app/
    https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-0.48.5/windows/32-bit/portable-app/

    I have no idea @charles.wang. This seems to be a old bug/issue that started with windows 10, I guess. It's somehow related to how inkscape can access or knows where the fonts are. Some times the solution is as simple as right-click > install font as administrator.

    @Aero Thank you very much. But I installed the 32bit portable-app Inkscape 1.2, the issue still exist.

    I'd try starting over as a new user with all user fonts installed normally in
    %localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts

    Only a few Inkscape versions needed that path manually added to the \etc\fonts\fonts.conf file in order to to find them (0.91, 0.92, 0.92.1, 0.92.2, 0.92.3 and 0.92.4).

    Thanks all.

    I found other issues in my Inkscape, such as can't find all extension in the Preferences->Interface->Keyboard->Extension, always can see the last opened file list in the startup window of Inkscape even I uninstall it and delete all "Inkscape" folder under the "user\appdata\roaming"...

    So do you guys know how to uninstall and clean all trails of Inkscape?

    Thank you very much.

    Shortcuts extensions:
    Preferences -> Interface -> Keyboard -> Effect

    Buttons to open user folders in:
    Preferences -> System

    In MS file explorer:
    The inkscape user folder is in %AppData%
    recently-used.xbel is in %LocalAppData%

    Remove Inkscape portable:
    Delete the folder (or uninstall from the platform if its installed)

    Terminate, Repair, Reset, Uninstall is easily done by right clicking the Inkscape icon and go to App settings if you are using the Inkscape MS Store version.
