Using Inkscape with Cutters/Plotters Inkscape and Silhouette and Cameo 4

My wife has been successfully using her Cameo 3 with fablabnbg/inkscape-silhouette.

She's thinking of upgrading to a Cameo 4 but not sure which variant.

    The fablabnbg GitHub site says:

This extension should work with the following devices:
    Silhouette Cameo 4
    Silhouette Cameo 4 Plus
    Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro

I'd be interested to hear of people's experiences, especially features which don't work.

    Thanks

I have just installed Inkspace and I also have a Cameo 4 Pro.  I will keep an eye open to see how I can use this software with the machine

Coincidentally I ordered a Cameo 4 Plus today, should arrive tomorrow.

A couple of entries here https://github.com/fablabnbg/inkscape-silhouette/issues suggest that it does work. I'll soon be able to answer my own question!

The Cameo 4 Plus has arrived. I've not had  chance to test it fully bus at least the basic cutting function works well.

The first annoyance is, unlike the Cameo 3, the pen holder blue adaptor will only fit in the left-hand (No.1) carriage slot. Solution: with the aid of a Stanley knife, cut away the two longitudinal protrusions on the rear of the adaptor.

Inkscape work?  How you like the cutter?

The Cameo 4 Plus works well with inkscape-silhouette.

I posted a question  (https://github.com/fablabnbg/inkscape-silhouette/issues/280)  about the increased pressure for the second tool but no solution yet.
