I have created an A4 sheet of outline graphics for cutting on a cricut maker3.
in inkscape threy are the correct size, important because they are for scale railway modelling. However when saved as svg file, I have to use enhanced because design space seems to ignore any other, the objects are resized, moved on the page some on top of the other.
I have tried all I can think of any suggestions appreciated, as an aside I have tried outreach to cricut but they just refer to a bot which dosnt understand the problem.
I attach the inkscape page and the result of the upload to ds
The trick with Cricut is to keep it as simple as possible.
When things like this happen the first thing I would think of is transforms, and perhaps layer transforms.
I have a Cricut Maker and use Design Space.
If you want me to have a look at the file and try to open it in Design Space, I can do.
If you don't want to share it here ( with the world ) you can click on my name in chat.inkscape.org and the little direct message bubble then attach the svg file in the chat.
I will have a look and post my findings here if you want.
Thanks for offer to help. I attach the inkscape file, which opens in inkscape as A4 page with line graphics its when imported to ds that all goes wrong
Thank you so much for spending time on my problem.
I have found the reason for the black fill in another project. It seems to be that although inkscape shows a white back ground to its work space design space cannot see this and treats it as black, so I put a white fill into the whole page and it shows properly in ds.

Well I have not a cricut cutter, but I have also a problem with the size from Inkscape to a brother cutter.
Here is the new 96 DPI-format from Inkscape changing to the old DPI-fomat with 72 DPI using by the Brother cutter the problem.
Perhaps the Link helps: inkscape.org/forums/Deutsch/svg-ausgabe-fur-brother-canvas-workspacemae-der-datei-stimmen-nicht

@CB. Delete the objects outside of your page, then group what's left on your page.
(I'm running out of space here, so I'm not attaching my test file)
@bmp18. Hopefully Brother will fix the linked issue unique to their software.
Thank you I try your suggestion.
Hello CB,
I have removed the transforms from the file.
I've removed the object outside the page ( As Aero pointed out ).
I have applied transforms to all object and copied and pasted all objects to a new layer.
When I open it in Cricut, it opens with a black fill, I have to click next to 'Basic Cut' and set the material colour to white.
I think Cricut is also quite sensitive to the order of objects in the stack ( if you have objects within another objects boundary ).
Hope this gets you closer.
Thank you so much for spending time on my problem.
