I can import webp files into Inkscape on my Ubuntu 25.04 computer and it works excellent

    OS version:       GNOME 48 (Flatpak runtime)
 

However windows 11 Inkscape says it can not open a webp import

What can I do to get the Windows version of Inkscape to import webp files?

Ok, I imported a webp file in inkscape on Ubuntu, saved and opened it in Inkscape on Windows, no issue, just the import process is not there.
