When I right-click in Inkscape, instead of the context menu appearing instantly, it does an annoying animation where it slides and fades into view. And then slides and fades away when disappearing. How do I disable these animations?
I am using Inkscape via the AppImage on Linux Mint: Inkscape 1.4 (e7c3feb, 2024-10-09); Inkscape-e7c3feb-x86_64.AppImage OS: Linuxmint 20.2; DE: Cinnamon 5.0.7; WM: Metacity
Thanks but I already have all the animations disabled or set to 0ms, as per the instructions in your link.
I'm not sure if these animations are baked in to Inkscape, or if they're baked deep into my window/desktop environment. If it's the latter, then I guess there's nothing else to do.

Is this issue specific to Inkscape or does it happen in other applications as well? If it happens in other applications, this may help: https://itsfoss.com/disable-animations-cinnamon-desktop/
