I have a cookie stamp made of frosted acrylic with engraving on it. I need this to be photographed on a plain white background. I have searched everywhere for a solution on how I can make what is close to a translucent image ‘pop’ on a white background using Inkscape, so that the engraved text on the stamp stands out. To give some context the image is for an Amazon listing which requires a plain white background, however it needs to look really good which is difficult to achieve when the product is clear on white!
The attached shot is far from a professional image (is just a test shot on my phone). I can’t get my head around how to make the stamp look good on the white background.
So you‘re talking about the left object and the text stands „proud“ of the surface? I‘d most likely do a 3D render from it as I did with our manufactured rubber stamps. Can you provide the outline as SVG or PDF - so I can check if this will work?
It seems many sellers put a multi-step gradient on the surface in light greys. Others use a frosted filter. Others skip the "floating product" on the white background and use a product shot on a tabletop like above.
Thanks @Polygon, you are correct, it is the clear stamp saying 'Happy Birthday' I am having issues with, not the green cookie cutter. I am trying to create an outline for you however not having a lot of success. Will revert ASAP.
Great idea @TylerDurden, I had not thought of checking out plate glass images. Knowing how to put multi-step gradients is a bit above my pay grade LOL. I will have to do some research. Thanks!

I was just surfing AZ for some flat glass plate.
