We (have) decided to go with a board to represent the project, and decided to fill the board using a combination of the Inkscape project founders and the current admins. In other words: Mental, Ted, njh, Jon Cruz, myself and Bulia. Bulia chose to give his spot to Joshua Andler.
However, for voting purposes it works best to have an odd number of people on the board, so we defined the board to be 7 members. This means we have one spot open for election.
