Beginners' Questions Stroke caps tilted

Hi. Suddenly when drawing a building plan in inkscape the caps of the strokes are not at 90 degrees anymore. They are turned slightly sideways, on the old and the new lines. What gives? And how do i reset this to the straight 90 degree caps? I think the issue happened after I drew with a rotated canvas (needed to draw 90 degree angles on a turned image), but it persisted after that.
I can fix it on new strokes by copying a bit that is formatted correctly and that copies the correct format to the following strokes. But the problem is the already created bits, how do i fix the incorrect caps?

Huh, while writing this the issue fixed itself  by redoing a bit of the drawing. But is there a way to tilt the caps or reset them? This has happened to me before and I was just as stumped then.

Do you have any groups enabled?

Yes but not on the pages in question. And now it suddenly happened again... IS there some way to change the tilt of the caps. I just want regular 90 degrees, straight endcaps.

End caps are adjustable in the Fill and Stroke panel. Can you make a screenshot for us?

Pasted a screenshot which shows the tilt. I can´t adjust endcaps besides choosing different types, and all types have this slight tilt.

Honestly this doesn't makes sense to me - except you shifted the object: go in rotation mode and drag one of the horizontally double-arrows - not sure if this slanting is technically possible at all. I don't have Inkscape in front of me right now. Can you reduce the miter limit which is currently set to 3,86 and check if it flips back to normal?

It's probably easier to upload and have a look into the file.
