I've just started using Inkscape, and I'm coming from Illustrator. In Illustrator, I have created a swatches library (ASE), which Inkscape loads correctly, groups and all. No problems here. However, I noticed that assigning a swatch from that library will not create the corresponding swatch in the document; objects assigned a library swatch are given RGBA colours instead. This contrasts with Illustrator, that copied a swatch from a library into the document the moment it was used.
Is there a way to automatically move a swatch from a library into document, even if that would break the link with the library? I get you could assign the swatch from the library, then create a document swatch from the resulting RGB colour, but it's not exactly optimal.
Good day everyone,

Thank you.
That is not currently a feature, but might be good to have as an option.
