Beginners' Questions rectangle, ellipse/arc, 3D box tools are not working

    Hello friends,ย 

    I am trying to learn Inkscape recently and it was working fine until yesterday.ย 

    Nowย rectangle, ellipse/arc, 3D box tools are not working and also coloring tools are not working too.

    Also I unintalled v14 and now intalled v14.2. Still facing the same issue.

    It looks like the object has very little opacity at the bottom of the Fill/Stroke dialog (panel). I'd make that 100%. I'd also check the Fill tab in that dialog to ensure the A (opacity) slider is also 100%.

    If that doesn't totally resolve the issue, I'd check the opacity of the layer in the Layers & Objects dialog.

    Finally, if all the above are ineffective, I'd reset the preferences:ย https://inkscape.org/forums/questions/getting-back-to-square-one-and-starting-over-its-easy/
