I have a .dxf file that can be opened in Inkscape.Β Β
But when I open it, it will prompt a box asking how to scale the image.
When I choose "Automatically scale it to A4", chances are the size of the A4 canva is not large enough to cover the whole image, which means, when I am saving it to SVG, the top of the image is cropped out and not being seen.
I can see that we can change the A4 canva in document properties, but I have to calculate/find the right scale to fit, which I can't at this moment.
Are there any way which I can fit the image to canva, just like what can be done in Photoshop?
Select everything - group - adjust Page size at Document preferences - enable snapping to Page border - Move it till the group upper left corner snaps to the upper left corner of the page - then hold down ctrl and click*drag from the lower right corner of the group to the lower right corner of the page.
